Miranda Barrett, CAE to deepen for-profit membership and nonprofit association capacity; Ben Bowden to advise on venture capital and private equity expansion

WASHINGTON D.C. – July 11, 2023 – Factum Global, an international consulting firm that specializes in helping organizations expand and operate across global markets, today announced the appointment of two new Associate Consultants – Miranda Barrett, CAE and Benjamin Bowden  – who will provide additional expertise in the nonprofit association and venture capital and private equity sectors, respectively. 

Ms. Barrett’s global experience in helping for-profit and nonprofit membership-based organizations and corporate communities to launch chapters and partnerships across seventy countries will greatly contribute to the firm’s work in membership engagement and alliances. Previously, she worked in The White House, managing logistics for The White House Press Corps in the Travel Office, and held leadership positions with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, where she led member delegations to South America, Africa, and the Middle East, building partnerships and providing counsel to emerging business owners.

Mr. Bowden brings years of experience advising global venture and private equity-backed companies on expanding globally by applying lean principles to operations, strategy, and go-to-market. Previously, he worked for Velocity Global, a global expansion services company and employer of record, as an early member of the core client services team. He has supported hundreds of scale-up clients on global expansion operations and employment in 100+ countries. Mr. Bowden held multiple leadership roles, including spending 3 years launching and overseeing Velocity’s APAC operations based in Singapore. Over the course of seven years, he supported the companies’ scale-up to a multi-billion dollar valuation which today employs 1000+ employees in 50+ global offices around the world.
