Miranda Barrett

Associate Consultant

Miranda Barrett is an associate consultant with Factum Global. She brings more than 15 years of experience building membership organizations and corporate communities. As a Certified Association Executive (CAE), Miranda has built strategies across all functions of membership, including onboarding, benefits, structure, chapter launches, marketing, member success, renewals, and forums. Working on both the non-profit and for-profit sides of membership, she brings insight from both industries to clients.

Miranda’s global experience spans chapter launches and partnerships across 70 countries. In her role with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, she led member delegations to South America, Africa, and the Middle East, building partnerships and offering mentoring to emerging business owners. She doubled the geographic scope of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, creating new opportunities for young entrepreneurs in emerging markets. Her passion for world travel and cultures began in her role with the White House Travel Office, where she was responsible for travel logistics of the White House Press Corps.

Currently, Miranda is a consultant to groups building professional business communities, helping shape strategy, capacity, and operations. She is a regular writer and speaker on membership and community best practices.

Miranda graduated with honors from the George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs and pursued executive education with the Thunderbird School of Global Management. She is a Certified Association Executive and Project Management Professional. During the pandemic, Miranda lived on a farm and learned to raise chickens and goats, and fostered rescue puppy litters. She now resides in Virginia and enjoys exploring new countries with her husband and two sons.
