Josh Biela

Josh provides support to the firm’s research/data analytics, marketing, and consulting teams, particularly with market research, data analytics and cleansing, and client research.

Josh is a Senior at American University where he is pursuing a major in data science, with a minor in finance. He is particularly interested in the intersection of data analytics, consulting, and finance. During the Spring 2024 semester, Josh studied in Rome and enrolled in courses focused on game theory, mergers and acquisitions, and finance. He also participated in a variety of Italian culture experiences.

Previously, Josh worked as a Data Science Intern at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, DC, where he created a comprehensive machine learning anomaly detection model.

Outside of the classroom, Josh is passionate about traveling, experiencing new cultures, soccer, and cooking. A native of Chicago, Josh enjoys spending time by the water, and with friends and family.
