Chris Choy

Chris Choy is a seasoned ESG and digital transformation expert with over 25 years of leadership experience in building maintenance and corporate real estate. He has led two Fortune 500 companies in Asia Pacific, specializing in startups and business transformations, and has demonstrated expertise in digitalization, sustainability, and Industry 4.0 solutions.

As the founder of FIFOYO.com, an Industry 4.0 IoT company, Chris has revolutionized facilities management by enhancing productivity and reducing costs through innovative digitalization strategies. Driven by a commitment to combat climate change, Chris is passionate about raising ESG awareness within Malaysian companies. His efforts include training practitioners to integrate ESG principles into their operations confidently.

Chris is a certified HRDF Trainer and has curated programs that have benefited over 500 trainees, equipping the next generation of building professionals with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry. He has also shared insights on sustainability, smart property, and digital transformation at various conferences and webinars.

Trained as an engineer at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Chris contributed to Singapore’s nation-building projects, including MRT (rapid transit), HDB R&R, and road construction initiatives. After earning the Singapore Institute of Management’s Silver Medal Award, Chris was appointed to oversee a manufacturing plant in Malaysia. He later obtained an MBA from the University of Malaya, further solidifying his expertise in C-level management roles since the 1990s.

Chris is a former Registered Property Manager (Board of Valuers Malaysia) and a LEED Green Associate. He is also the founding President of the Nanyang Technological University Alumni Association (Malaysia) and has served on the Executive Committee Board of NTUAA, Singapore.
