Episode Notes
Access, connection, and beauty are the core tenets of the new and innovative Festival of the Diaspora (FOTD). With its first-ever event in February of 2022, the FOTD is convening North American executives from Fortune 500 companies and global government leaders, with successful, local business owners to bring positive change in cities across Latin America.
Following on the heels of its first successful event, the FOTD – the “un-World Economic Forum” – has since hosted accessible, affordable, and inclusive events for business leaders, artists, innovators, and the like in Puerto Rico, Cartagena, Colombia, and will soon host its third Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in February 2024.
In this interview, hear more from Aspen Institute Executive and the Founder of the Festival of the Diaspora and learn about its profound and lasting effects on local Latin American communities, investment opportunities with reliable, long-term returns, and how bringing people together from around the world in beautiful places forge new partnerships, create meaningful learning opportunities, and real change.
