Santiago Gomez Cervantes

Santiago leads operations in Latin America. Santiago has extensive experience in corporate strategy, human capital management, business transformation, organizational culture, negotiations, and business and employment law which he brings to bear in his position at Factum Global.

Santiago is a lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors.

A seasoned public servant and executive, Santiago previously served in leadership positions in the Colombian government at Banco de la República and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Colombia, and in the private sector at Avianca, Colpatria, Banco Santander, Cafesalud and HRC de Colombia – Hamburguesas El Corral. In addition, Santiago has taught law courses at the Catholic University of Colombia and most recently has served as senior advisor and consultant to a variety of companies in Colombia.

Santiago holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Catholic University of Colombia and a specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Los Andes. In addition, he earned an executive education certificate on Strategic Human Resources Management from the University of California at Berkeley. Santiago is fluent in Spanish, enjoys playing golf, and spending time at his farm. He is based in Bogotá, Colombia.
