Emily Simons

Economic Research/Data Intern

Emily supports the firm’s marketing and consulting teams, particularly with market research, data analytics, social media, creative content design, blogging, and strategy development.

She is a junior at Villanova University majoring in Economics, concentrating in Global Business, and minoring in Communications. She is passionate about researching global markets, data analytics, and complex marketing strategies.

Most recently, through her involvement with the Villanova Consulting Group, Emily had the opportunity to combine her two academic interests with her work on an in-depth market research study and report at the intersection of consumer staples distribution and the retail sector, with an emphasis on food retail. Previously, she served as an intern at Current Home NY, where she helped develop a new, comprehensive website design and user experience, and implemented its social media marketing strategy, resulting in an increase of more than 9,000 new followers.

Outside of the classroom, Emily is an avid volleyball player, swimmer, and runner. She also enjoys traveling, teaching people to swim, and volunteering with the ALS Foundation. She is a native of New York where she enjoys spending time with her family.
