Aseem Goyal

Aseem leads Asian operations as Managing Director.

He is an international sales and business leader with a solid record across Asia, driving business growth through relationship building, execution of innovative strategies across various markets, developing technology solutions and mentoring senior teams. Until recently, Aseem was Deputy CEO and CCO of an insurance company in Laos, with responsibilities spanning across multiple domains - from digital, product, and technology to sales, network development, and marketing.

Previously, Aseem worked in corporate banking with ANZ and Standard Chartered, taking on diverse leadership roles across multiple geographies in North and Southeast Asia. This included managing global clients and products, developing and executing strategy, growing and transforming businesses, mentoring senior teams, and leading post M&A integrations. During this time, he also chaired a 5-member board of senior executives to successfully restructure ANZ’s business in business and convert it from a subsidiary to a branch.

After leaving banking in 2019, Aseem leveraged his extensive banking experience by working with nearly 10 startups for 3 years as an Advisory Board member, where he advised them on market expansion, product management, customer acquisition and leadership development.

A Canadian national, English is his native language, though Aseem is proficient in Hindi and Thai. He earned an MBA from the University of Toronto, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, has completed Executive and Leadership development programs at INSEAD in France and Singapore, as well as a Digital Business Strategy program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Aseem is also a certified Global Leadership coach. He resides in Bangkok.
